In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top food and drink apps on the Android platform in Switzerland showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a glimpse into the app usage landscape during this period.

McDonald's app showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 4.8K in mid-August. However, its weekly active users saw a gradual decline from approximately 77.6K at the beginning of July to around 57.6K by the end of September.

The Too Good To Go: End Food Waste app experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, culminating at 3.3K in late September. The app's weekly active users also saw an upward trend, growing from 114.5K in early July to 137K by the end of the quarter.

For Just Eat Switzerland, weekly downloads remained relatively stable with slight fluctuations, starting at 1.8K in early July and ending at 1.6K in late September. Its active user base showed minor variations, maintaining around 14K to 15K users throughout the quarter.

The Burger King CH app saw a peak in downloads at approximately 1.9K in mid-August. Meanwhile, its active user numbers increased steadily from 15.1K in early July to about 17.6K by the quarter's end.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery witnessed a gradual increase in downloads, ending the quarter with around 1.4K downloads per week. The app's active users also grew steadily, reaching nearly 34K by the end of September.
